Visited at night-time. The range of food is intriguing, there is a wide variety to try from. The table service is also extraordinarily fast and the staff(Manjot) was very friendly. It's a bit noisy at night but personally it creates a comforting atmosphere as many families are enjoying themselves here. 10/10 would reccomend.

Placed in the heart of Slough on farnham road, very convienent to nearby shops and the locals, this restaurant is placed in the right place, with plenty of parking around.The food in this restaurant is finger licking, the masalas in the dishes are very rich with a blend of spices. The service is paramount with very good staff.The atmosphere is superb , the deco just pulls you in the restaurant. Sitting capacity must be about 50 to 60 people. RANJIT was fantastic such a good waiter with a smile on his face and very knowledgable.

From the moment we walked in, Ranjit made us feel incredibly welcome. His warm demeanor and genuine enthusiasm for the restaurant’s offerings set the tone for the entire meal. My experience at Chokhat was awful. Besides the gorgeous atmosphere and decorations, the service and food was not to my standard. The food was overly salty and not nice to eat, due to the high sodium content, and small portions for a high, overrated price. The garlic naan was most likely the star of the night, tasty and delicious. But however, this was not the most exasperating part of the night. This one specific waiter, which I will leave him unnamed, had very impolite manners. Whilst we were in the midst of eating, he randomly came up to us and took our plates away - there was still food, and we were still eating. After essentially stealing our plates from us, he then asked if we want our plates back. Of course, I didn’t want it back after he had taken it without any recognition of my consent, and said no. Moreover, some of the waiters were constantly staring at us - which isn’t a bad thing - but we were under discomfort of their presences. All in all, the waiter service was disappointing (but they had sent our food fast, which we were happy about) which is the only thing I would disagree about. We will consider coming back.

This restaurant has such a cozy and charming atmosphere.From the moment you walk in, you feel right at home. The warm lighting, delightful decor, and comfortable seating make it an ideal place.and The railway mutton curry , Chokhat wali daal and garlic naans was so yummy and I ate the whole thing, even though it was quite heavy for one person. lamb chops was tender and Perfectly cooked and the flavor was amazing.and open kitchen adds to the allowing you to watch the chefs in action.the chef Rana has magic in his hand how he made food so delicious I don’t know. Might be that’s magic is his love while making the food he put in too food . the overall experience is fantastic.if I talk about service it’s was wonderful every staff looks and behaves like professionals but the lady who serves us it was Barsha she is outstanding the way she welcome me and she explained me everything with full of confidence and in a polite manner . I personally recommend this place to everyone who is watching the reviews you must visit this place . Thank you guys ❤️

It’s the first time we dined here as a family. The food was 5 star, we ordered lots of starters and mains and the food was steaming hot and delicious. Harsh served us and he knew exactly what we wanted when and took his time to take our order. I had an amazing experience at Chokhat for my wedding anniversary. The ambiance was warm and inviting, with a perfect balance of elegance and comfort. The Salt and Pepper Prawn was perfectly seasoned and crispy, bursting with flavor in every bite. The Lamb Lavabdar was rich, tender, and full of aromatic spices, making it an absolute must-try. We ordered Papdi Chaat, Amritsari Fish, and Chicken 65— the Papdi Chaat, in particular, was a standout. The dining experience was top-notch, and I highly recommend trying their Kadhi Pakoda for mains—it was the best I’ve ever had! Their chicken and lamb dishes were just as impressive. The warm and inviting ambience made it the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a meal. It’s rare to find a place that excels in both food and hospitality, but this one truly does. 10 out of 10! Visited here yesterday to celebrate with the whole family and the experience was faultless. We were in group of 12 people with them having to accomodate to special requests for young kids and everyone was excellent. THE SERVICE IS WORLD CLASS! The food is exceptional, the decor is as good as any fine dining restauraun. I appreciate all the efforts by every team member. The food: Starters, Lamb chops (good) Murgh malia tikka (required more flavour) Chilli paneer (good) Papdi Chaat (good, however some of the papdi was quite tough to bite through) Pani Puri (gol guppa were stale and the pani too sweet) Main course: Butter Chicken (over powered by cardamom) Chilli chicken (totally not as expected, came in a soy and Manchurian sticky sauce) Daal Tadka (over cooked and mushy like pulp) Naans (good, we had chilli and garlic, peshwari and garlic). Mango lassi (tasted of rose, assuming it was the petals used as garnish. Hope the feedback is taken on board to improve the dishes and look forward to visiting again the future.

I visited for the first time a couple of days ago and was genuinely impressed. The staff were courteous and took the time to listen to how I wanted my curries prepared. The dishes turned out fantastic — a spicy lamb curry and a mild, creamy paneer tikka masala. As someone with a North Indian background, both were spot on in flavor and balance. A special shout-out to the owner and head chef — his passion for what he does really shows. I’ll definitely be returning. Please keep up the high standards!

What an incredible experience at Chokhat in Slough! We chose it for my wife's birthday, and we couldn't have been happier. Every dish, from the appetizers to the main course, was bursting with flavour and simply delicious. Beyond the amazing food, the staff were exceptionally welcoming and friendly. They went above and beyond by arranging a small birthday cake and playing a heartwarming happy birthday song, which was such a thoughtful touch. Chokhat genuinely stands head and shoulders above other Indian restaurants we've visited – the perfect blend of taste, service, and atmosphere.
