Ambience is really good, service is fast, but Mojito & Karahi Paneer needs improvement.
Amazing food, one of my favourite Indian restaurants. Love the chilli paneer and butter chicken.
Very Nice Indian Restaurant
Pure Indian taste 👌
Awful service, brought naan bred and 10 min later chicken Curry arrived . We had to constantly chase the staff for the service. 2 ladies running around attending to everyone. They had audacity to put service charges. Stressful experience
Avoid
Yummy indian food..cant go wrong with takaatak.
I had the absolute pleasure of celebrating my birthday at Takaa Tak, and I can't rave enough about how amazing the experience was! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by the staff, who made us feel incredibly welcome with their warm smiles and hospitality.
The food was exceptional! Every dish was filled with flavor and beautifully presented. The portions were generous, and each plate was nicely presented.A big thanks to the chef's who truly outdid themselves, as each bite was a testament to the care that went into making everything taste amazing. The taste was simply unforgettable!
The service throughout the evening was excellent. Shubert, Deepti, Altamas, Shalini, Jaspreet were all attentive, ensuring our glasses were never empty and that we had everything we needed. They were not only efficient but also genuinely friendly, adding a personal touch to the entire evening. They made sure my birthday felt special from start to finish.
One of the best moments was when I cut the birthday cake. While we brought the cake ourselves, the staff went out of their way to make it special by playing the perfect birthday background music, which really enhanced the celebratory atmosphere. It was such a thoughtful touch and made the moment feel truly magical.
A huge thank you to Shubert, Jaspreet, Deepti, Shalini, and Altamas for making my birthday so memorable!
If you're looking for a place with top-notch food, exceptional service, and a welcoming ambiance, I highly recommend Takaa Tak. They know how to make a special occasion feel extraordinary.
It was unparalleled, will definitely be back!
Went on the 19th August, kebabs were OK but chicken was undercooked.
However the bigger problem is that I've been ill since my visit. Recently came back from the doctors and turns out I have salmonella poisoning. The only place I could have got it was from here. Definitely never going to come back
The naans delivered were burnt to a crisp on the underside and hard as nails. Whole meal was ruined by the naans.
Highly recommended and authentic Indian food delight… A must visit..
I had gone to the restaurant with my family, and we were 3 all together, and we are regular visitors over there. This time they had served papadam, not soggy. We ordered our food, and then the food arrived. No one came because my fork dropped. I asked if I could get another fork; she didn't bring it. The fork told me to take it from another table. When they were keeping the plate, they told me to place the plate because she couldn't place it later on. Food arrived even though the placement was okay. We want to try various foods, so we ordered fried rice, calamari, gobi mango, butter chicken, butter garlic nun, chicken biryani, and chicken mango. The chicken biryani was so dry, no gravy was tasting how it meant to taste. We ordered chicken manchurian every time it was really made horribly bland, no taste was watery, and the worst chicken manchurian ever had. No one came to ask how the food the food was, why we didn't eat chicken biryani, chicken manchurian, calamari, and manchurian we ate. No one came to collect it or to clear the table; we had to clear the table and put it on the other table by ourselves. We asked for containers later, then ordered one dessert, and three waiters to do different things, like, even when we paid and left, they didn't even say anything. We didn't feel welcomed, or at the end, we didn't feel happy. We did take out of all food, accept gobi manchurian and calamari, and the bill was more than £80. I don't know why I'm paying for the service charge when we cleared the table ourselves, and in the end we were not happy.
Food was actually delicious. The reason for the bad review is due to the ambiance. There’s a group of men here celebrating a birthday and they’re extremely loud & were able to have access to the music so they are BLASTING it. I am unable to hear my boyfriend who is sitting in front of me unless I SHOUT at him. There are other customers here as well. Why are we subjected to this? So inconsiderate. We were also made to sit super close to the group when there was a bunch of seats elsewhere. Will go somewhere else next time. Would not recommend unless you do take out. EDIT: We left early and took our food to-go because now they kept whistling over and over to get the attention of the staff. They and the music were so loud that they had to resort to whistling. Awful experience.
Three of us gone for dinner in this restaurant on a weekday, Staff welcome us and offered a table, I ask my friend Chef Roiston

Mr Ravi Terence visit UK with his band
BEST INDIAN FOOD EVER!!!
Just went here for lunch with my husband. We’re staying at the Marriott just down the street.
We were recommended a different Indian restaurant within walking distance from our hotel, however upon arrival we found it was closed until 5pm (as many Indian restaurants do). So we did a quick search of nearby Indian restaurants (because now I had my heart set on it) and found that there are TONS to choose from. We chose this one because it had indoor seating.
We were the second customers in the dining room. It’s clean and nicely decorated.
We ordered the garlic naan, some samosas, I ordered the Korma chicken and my husband ordered the Tikka chicken. We ordered a bowl of basmati rice on the side. It doesn’t come with rice, but the bowl is very big, more than enough for 2 people, and only £3.50.
Everything was so delicious! I feel like that was the best samosa I’ve ever had! My korma chicken was so delicious! I was almost able to eat all of it. That’s probably the most I’ve been able to eat in an Indian restaurant! I dipped my naan in the curry sauce. It was sweet and creamy. Absolutely perfect in every way!
I’m coming back to London in a year and I’m definitely coming back to this restaurant again.
One of the good Indian restaurant i have been too. Just love the food and the vibe. love the staff here. Shalini one of the restaurant host is so welcoming and is sweet and friendly, always makes us feel comfortable. Shubert great customer service and makes a point we are at easy. Not to forget Raggio he is excellent!!!
Chicken lollipops were overcooked and size way way bigger than normal.
Sehaj the server was professional so helpful ,amazing service from him the diamond management have found .We would like Sehaj serve our table next time we go.
We have been going to this restaurant since it opened,
Always for special occasions ,tried others but TakaTaak no one can beat.
I pre booked to make sure we got a table.
Food was excellent as ever
I am giving 1 star for atmosphere for last night ,Its nothing to do with restaurant or management who do not want to turn away customers. But they should SERIUOSLY CONSIDER option of quiet dining for adults ,who wish to have meal and conversation
Last night a screaming non stop toddler was a nightmare, even i wanted to scream out loud to make it stop, I had tears as got such severe headache as the toddler screamed non stop for the 2 hours we were there. My blood pressure went sky high trying to stay calm had to come home earlier and try and rest in peace and quiet. Its not fair or acceptable on others who went out to have a relaxing dinner.
Management could have asked parents to try and calm the child as was disturbing other diners. Or one of the parents could have taken her outside for few minutes but both parents carried on eating enjoying themselves, did not seem to care about others around them. They should perhaps go to the usual restaurants where families take their kids such as McDonalds
we are parents but ensure our kids were behaved .
Chicken smells like fish and late service take a lot of time to give food, momos are not boiled properly hard as stone and I asked for cold coke and they gave me warm coke. Gol gappe taste expired. The only nice thing about this restaurant is the water and poppadoms.
Out of 5 days in London we were here 3 times. We tried different dishes and were impressed every time. I have never eaten such delicious Indian food. Highly recommended!
The food is not only flavorful and satisfying, but it is also offered at a very reasonable price, making it a great value for anyone looking to enjoy a delicious meal.
Stopped here by chance for dinner. Busy on a Monday evening. Staff were friendly and pleasant. Good service. Clean. I had the Awadhi Chicken Tikka Biryani with Kuchumber Raita and a Coke Zero to drink. The food was very nice. The biryani was very spicy but the one girl was kind to tell me when I ordered but I was fine with it. Nice with the raita which added a little sweetness. The complimentary poppadoms and condiments were nice too. I would have ordered more but as one person, this was difficult. I would suggest if you are with others to order a variety of dishes and share, so you can try more. I ended up taking the rest of the biryani back to my hotel to eat the next day. Portion sizes are generous. Despite how busy they were, service was efficient and food came out quickly. Freshly made and well presented.

One of the managers should have informed the parents of the distress caused to others. But this one family was favoured .
.
I have been to the restaurant several times over the years. Food is very tasty and authentic Indian food unlike many out there. In fact, I recently took their catering service - they were very flexible with the menu, extremely competitive on price, delivered the order on time and all guests loved the food. It is my go-to-restauant for family dinners or party orders. Highly recommended!

Very authentic and traditional tasty food. Great dishes and super delicious. Simple decor but a nice place overall. If at Heathrow on a stopover or short visit then well worth a visit for some good Indian cuisine.
Worst packaging ever, most of the orders got spit in the delivery bag.
Food is flavourful, perfectly spiced, and generous portions. True to taste.
If you go during random off peak hrs when staff is minimum, service can take slightly longer but that is understandable.
Take it from someone who was born in a restaurant family, this place does excellent Indian and not bastardised versions sold by the eastern neighbours ;)
Really good food and friendly staff.. very close to Hounslow west station..
I didn’t want to put this review but unfortunately Someone need to tell them .Dont know what happened to their food now. It used to be good very good. First we used to go Hayes and last time when we went there their every single dish taste the same veg and non veg. So thought Hounslow branch food must be different but Yesterday ordered takeaway food. Ordered daal makhni, Amritsari chole, mix veg and lamb curry. Lamb curry and daal makhni was ok but mix veg wasn’t good and Amritsari chole what can I say . Too sour too much tomato added in the gravy. I guess chef need to taste it or the owner of the branch
Food according to me is not as good as I thought after reading the reviews, the butter chicken was too much of elaichi flavour , triple schezwan not even it look like it, the taste was horrible too,Though the service given by a Nepali lady, and all the other staff was absolutely fantastic, and its bit overcrowded too.
Personally, the food was great. The service was a bit time consuming as the starters took more than 30 minutes to arrive. The environment was very busy but overall it 6.5/10… Would come back in less busier days!!
Did not go much on the food.
Best Indian in town. Been coming here since it was open. Still the same . Love it.
Have dined and ordered before I ordered food through Deliveroo . Only one positive was delivery was on time other than that all food was bad.butter chicken was sour , hot and sour soup bland and tasted watery. Cheese garlic naan too thick and did not taste like freshly baked rather cheap quality ready made product . Whole meal was waste of money
Quality has dropped a lot , veg manchao soup was salt less , chilli garlic veg hakka noodles came without chilli and garlic. Rather got blamed on us that we asked it to be plain.
If we did want plain why would we ask chilli garlic vag hakka noodles !!!
Fabulous place with amazing service quality. We celebrated my wife’s birthday and am extremely happy to recommend Takaa Tak, Hounslow. Seven star if that’s the ultimate rating I can give. Regi is super host with Sahej took good care of my guests. Thanks a million to Takaa Tak for helping me deliver an amazing experience to my wife and my guests.
Absolutely amazing food with amazing service from Deepti, Shalini, Radhika, Shubert, Sahaj, Kabina, Rajni
Had a Staff party, Fabulous service and food.
Fabulous Service and Food
I been there last week with my friend.. food was not Halal.. and she ordered meat it was not good quality .. it was not fresh meat.. she got problem.. be careful when you order meat..
Always enjoying the food with friends and family
Shubert and Radhika Thapa were an absolute delight and helped us with our order. Their service was top notch and they made our experience worth while and the food was amazing
Good restaurant with great Indian food options . Starters (chicken 65 , chicken manchurian) and chicken soup very good . Biryani was provided in tawa style so don’t like biryani
Excellent service 👏 excellent food great value for money
I’ve been wating a hour still have no food
Food was very delicious and very happy . Kids frdly too thanks to pavan who made our days today.
ITS VERY BAD EXPERIENCE AT THIS RESTAURANT WE VISIT after all tasks 1 year and food is worst and it’s totally unhygienic which make us all 4 people sick and we order mix veg and daal and bread and cheese chilly and noodles….we report restaurant on the support about mix veg which is worst , rest we finish noodles and cheese chilly completely and make our stomach gargle after 1 hour and I ask my other friends which are with me ,they all have same sickness today …..except coke which is original….rest all stuff is like mess ….
We don’t want your refund or any claim just make you food standard high which is more valuable to customers .specially noodles oil is like engine oil which you give us … never recommend to visit ….
Excellent service and yummy food
A very worst service from reggio because of this person we stopped our celebration and we leave the dinner , he stopped us from enjoying us on our table
Heard so much about this place. Food took ages to arrive, tasted mediocre at best.
Food was good and big portions
I recently visited Takaa Tak restaurant, and I must say, the food was absolutely fantastic. The flavors were rich, authentic, and perfectly balanced, bringing together the best of both Indian and Chinese cuisines. Each dish had a unique twist, yet stayed true to its roots, with the right amount of spice and seasoning. From the crispy chicken lollypos to the Fried Rice variations, every bite was a delightful experience. The service was friendly, and the atmosphere complemented the vibrant flavors. Highly recommend this spot for anyone craving delicious Indo-Chinese cuisine!
We recently celebrated our 40th birthday at Takaa Tak Banquet Hall in Hounslow, and it was an unforgettable experience! From start to finish, the service was exceptional. Reggy and Sahaj were incredibly helpful, ensuring everything from the hall arrangements to the food was perfectly handled. The venue was well-maintained, creating a great atmosphere for our celebration. The food was absolutely delicious, and the overall experience exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend this venue for anyone looking for a top-notch event space!
All round very good experience
One of my favourite restaurants. Food is delicious.
Not good. Do not recommend. Good taste and quality is not good.
Dining at Takaa Tak left me with mixed feelings. While the restaurant offers good food and commendable service, it lacks the variety and depth that make a meal truly memorable.
Starting with the positives, the food is well-prepared, flavorful, and satisfying. The portions are generous, and the presentation is neat. It’s clear that the chefs put effort into maintaining a certain standard. The service is also impressive—prompt, attentive, and courteous. The staff ensures that orders are taken efficiently and delivered in a reasonable time.
However, despite these strengths, there’s a lingering sense of monotony. The dishes, though tasty, have a strikingly similar flavor profile. Whether it’s a curry, a dry preparation, or even a starter, the same spice blend and seasoning seem to dominate. While consistency is important, a restaurant must also offer diversity in taste to keep diners engaged.
This sameness made the experience less exciting than I had hoped. While I appreciated the reliability of their flavors, I found myself craving something different with each bite—but not quite getting it.
Overall, Takaa Tak is a decent choice for a meal, especially if you enjoy its particular style of cooking. But if you’re looking for variety in taste and a menu that surprises, it might fall a little short. Hence, a fair three-star rating—good, but not great.
Amazing food! The portions were so generous and tasty I didn’t need to eat until afternoon the next day! Will definitely go back.
Food is scrumptious.I love the indo chinese.
We dined in taka tak 2-3 times long back.
As we live very far so was passing by Hounslow so thought of doing a take away from there day before. The dal and butter chicken good but was so disappointed with egg curry …the person who took the order mentioned it is punjabi egg curry i said yes and to my surprise when we opened it the egg curry was full of curry leaves in it and it spoiled the complete taste of the dish. I mean who would imagine curry leaves tadka on egg curry unless we are eating in south Indian restaurant.
Egg curry was pathetic. Would not recommend or order again
We went to this restaurant with high expectations, but it turned out to be a complete disaster. The food quality was shockingly poor. The Chicken Lollipop was drenched in old, smelly oil that ruined the entire dish. To make things worse, the Schezwan chutney tasted awful—completely off and inedible. Hugely disappointed and definitely not coming back.
Every time we come in here we have the most amazing food. And the Mojitos were excellent too !
Delicious. The food is fantastic every time I order from here. The flavours are authentic and the portions are generous.
The aloo tikki chaat is the best I have ever had.
